Get 5 free HD DVDS with a Toshiba laptop

Toshiba clearly love a bit of HD DVD Good news for fans of HD content - Toshiba has revealed plans to give away five free HD DVDs with its new range of laptops.

Consumers who purchase one of the firm's laptops that come with built-in HD DVD players will be able to "kick-off" their HD DVD collection with some top-quality films.

They can choose from a list of titles which includes Children of Men, Full Metal Jacket, Chronicles of Riddick, Hulk and The Prestige.

Each of the new laptops comes with a high-def widescreen display of up to 17-inches and better still they can be connected to an HDTV and used as a standalone HD DVD player.

In a statement the company said: "Toshiba's HD DVD laptops give you the freedom to experience the next generation in movie viewing whether you’re on the move or at home in the room of your choice."

The offer ends on January 31st, 2008 and includes the Qosmio G40 which is "designed for entertainment", the Satellite X200, the Satellite P200, the Satellite Pro P200 and the Satellite Pro A200, which Toshiba describes as a "great all-rounder that was designed to look good as well as perform well".
