22 Feb 2008 17:06

Toshiba Toshiba is set to update its LCD HDTV range with the release of new models to its CV-, VX- and ZF-series.

Starting with the CV-range, three new models are to be launched in 32, 37 and 42-inch sizes, all offering 1366 x 768 HD resolution.

Active Vision and Game Mode features will make the sets perfect for gamers as the televisions are designed to eliminate input lag.

The VX-range will boast the same gaming features but will have an improved 1,920 x 1,080 HD picture and will also come with three HDMI inputs.

Meanwhile the top of the range ZF-series arrives in 40, 46 and 50-inch sizes and an impressive 1,920 x 1,200 resolution.

All three televisions come with 100Hz video processing in an attempt to reduce the motion blurring problems sometimes found in LCD TVs.

The ZF-series is earmarked for release in April while the CV-, and VX-ranges should hit the shops slightly earlier in March.
