All-in-one PC with Blu-ray support from Sony Well, well, well! Welcome back after the Bank Holiday weekend. Hope you all enjoyed the sunshine and are now raring to go for the rest of the week. We certainly feel nicely rested, and as such we have some cracking technology news for you.

The clever folks at Sony have come up with a new product, mangotangoers, that we're sure you will find pretty impressive. Ready? Here goes. The electronics firm has debuted the very first all-in-one PC that offers support for Blu-ray.

Unveiled yesterday (Monday), the Vaio LT HD PC/TV has a 22-inch screen on which users can watch and record analog, digital and cable television programmes. There are two versions of the PC, one of which is capable of playing material from a high-capacity Blu-ray disc.

A statement on the firm's website reads: "The Sony VAIO LT is a cable-ready all-in-one PC/TV combo with a gorgeous 22-inch display featuring XBRITE-HiColor technology and available Blu-ray Disc optical drive.

"And since it is VESA compatible, you can mount the LT to your wall or desk for an impressive space-saving computing and entertainment experience."

The new PC will be made available in October this year.
