Blu-ray owners given a run for their money

Blu-ray owners will be given a run for their money should they choose to buy one of two new movies to hit the format next week.Next Monday sees the Blu-ray release of one of the biggest comedies of 2007, Run Fat Boy Run, as well as the 1998 German thriller Run Lola Run.
Run Fat Boy Run stars Shaun of the Dead star Simon Pegg as an overweight dad desperately trying to win back the love of the pregnant woman he left at the altar five years earlier.
The film was directed by Friends star David Schwimmer and held the number one spot in the UK cinema chart last year for four consecutive weeks, earning over £10 million at the box office.
Cult hit Run Lola Run, with its slightly more serious tone, tells the story of a flame-haired girl named Lola and her attempts to deliver 100,000 German marks to the boss of an organised crime mob to save the life of her boyfriend.
The movie tells the same story a number of times with each "run" made by the protagonist taking a different slant on the narrative.
