JVC launches new products
08 May 2007 16:03Don't you just love it when a brand spanking new piece of shiny technology becomes available?
Thought you would. Eyes glistening? Mouth watering? Wallet opening? You'd better read on then. Because JVC has just revealed its latest consumer electronics kit.
As Home Cinema Choice magazine reports, the giant Japanese company unveiled the new technology during its 2007 product preview at the Athenaeum Intercontinental Hotel in Athens, Greece.
One of the more impressive electronic items was the HD-65S8 HD-ILA hybrid system. This 65 inch TV employs liquid crystal on silicon technology and as a result produces a smooth, bright image with high contrast.
There was also a prototype of the company's first Blu-ray player, which as of yet is unnamed, unpriced and without a release date.
Moreover, JVC had three ultra slim DVD players to showcase, all of which were just 39mm tall. Prices have not yet been announced, but it is thought that they will become available by the end of the summer.
