With one of KEF's systems, watching TV will have a cinematic quality A brand new series of home cinema products has been unveiled by KEF.

These KEF Instant Theatre (KIT) systems come with everything you need to create a near-cinema experience in your own home.

This includes a subwoofer with integral power amplifier, two or five main loudspeakers and a matching compact DVD/CD player which incorporates HDMI technology.

Available in high gloss black or matt silver finishes, the systems are also very neat and tidy as they use just one cable connection between each of the various components.

Some of the various systems include the kit120, which features a two-speaker system and has a recommended retail price of £1,199.99, the kit510 which is a full 5.1 system based on KEF's 'egg' speakers and priced at £1,299.99 and the £1999.99 kit540, which has five slender speakers and can be floor or wall-mounted.

According to pocketlint.co.uk, the firm considers these products to "offer the delights of home cinema without the normal tangle of wires, swarm of oversized speakers and complicated set-up, thanks to some ingenious technology - be it wireless, virtual surround sound via NXT, or HDMI - and elegant engineering".
