The GO 920 T: New voice recognition satellite Navigation system by Tom Tom A swish new sat-nat system which features a voice-recognition function has been showcased by Tom Tom.

The GO 920 T was unveiled at IFA 2007 in Berlin. The 4GB sat-nav allows drivers to record their own driving instructions for routes - perfect for those motorists who are fed up with being given instructions by a smarmy know-it all!

What's more, the function is also handy for those who don’t like having to tap away on the devices' touch screen to enter their instructions.

It will also come with preinstalled maps of Europe and North America, which will include "building footprints" aimed at helping drivers to get a better feel of their surroundings.

In addition, the GO 920 will come with a hands-free kit which will allow drivers to make phone calls safely while on the road.

As if that wasn't enough to get you interested, this little gadget will also have an FM transmitter so that you can use it to play music. And if you prefer your own choice of tunes to the radio then you can buy an iPod cable and use it with your MP3 player.

A price for the GO 920 has yet to be announced.
