According to consumer electronics website Digital Home, the manufacturer's DCP750 and DCP850 are a great addition to the Phillips range and could offer a useful solution for parents embarking on a long car journey with small children.
The DCP750, which comes with a seven-inch screen, is noted for its swivel display, Dolby Digital sounds and "slim lightweight design".
It is noted that the DCP850, which has a slightly larger 8.5-inch swivel monitor, is a dual-screen model and has multiple headphone jacks making it ideal for the family car or partners on long train journeys.
Last month, Canada.com cited the DCP750 in its list of "games and gizmos perfect for gift-giving"
It was also noted that consumers shopping for an mp3 player should opt for Apple's iPod, stating: "don't kid around with all the pretenders, go straight to the champ."
