15 Nov 2007 15:29

Harry and his chums could soon be part of a cool new boxset Warner Home Video is to launch a special boxset of the first five Harry Potter films on DVD, Blu-ray disc and HD DVD.

The limited edition boxset is to be packaged in a small mock suitcase and while each version will share many extras, such as the Magic of Editing and The Hidden Secrets of Harry Potter documentaries, there will also be some format-exclusive material.

Consumers who opt for the Blu-ray version will be treated to a selection of production diaries and cool featurettes, HDTV Org reports.

Those who prefer to watch HD DVDs will be privy to web-enabled features such as the ability to pick favourite scenes and use them to create a montage that can be shared with family and friends via the web.

They will also be able to enjoy in-Movie experiences, such as the cast members of Dumbledore's Army talking about memorable moments.

As of yet an exact release date and price haven't been confirmed, but it is thought that the boxset will hit the shops at the end of this month.

Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, the fifth and most recent film in the series, was released on Monday, November 12th.
