The all-in-one PC and LCD TV

09 Oct 2007 11:33

Longing for a PC that could work as a TV? Soon you could live that dream! Convenience is a big concern for many people in today's busy society, isn't it? For instance, it's all well and good knowing which high-definition television you want to buy, but how quickly can you get it home and watch it?!

Another big concern is space - when you get that telly, where will it go? So luckily for those of you who want a top-quality set but don't want to give over half of your living room for it, there is a new product that could be right up your street.

An all-in-one-device from Xtreme Notebook, called XN1, is just four-inches thick and works as an LCD HDTV and a computer.

It comes in two sizes, 19-inch and 22-inch display screens, and is bundled with an adjustable stand that allows it to be used on a desk or a table. Features include up to 2TB of storage, an HD DVD slot load drive, an Intel E6320 processor, 512MB of RAM, a 1.3-megapixel webcam and Wi-Fi.

The Xtreme Notebook XN1 All-in-one LCD TV/PC is priced at $1,489 (£733) for the 19-inch and $1,599 (£787) for the 22-inch. It will initially be made available in the US but no word yet as to when it will come onto the European market.
