Getting a top-of-the-range high-def TV is pretty cool, isn't it? And what about when you complement that telly with a second generation DVD player - it just gets even better! So, what do you do when you've sorted your home entertainment set up? Get some great high-def material to watch on it of course! Whether your hankering for HD DVDs or burning with desire for Blu-ray Discs, you know it makes sense to make the move from standard DVDs and get your self well acquainted with these fab new discs.
Anyway, what we're trying to say, in a rather round-a-bout sort of way, is that there is a new release for you to start drooling over - Spiderman 3.
Yes, Spidey's third big screen adventure is coming to Blu-ray (sorry HD DVD fans) in October this year.
There will be several versions to choose from, including a single-disc release, a two-disc Special Edition release, a PSP edition and a three-pack DVD release which will include the first and second adventures of the crime-fighting web-slinger.
In addition, Sony Pictures Home Entertainment is also set to release each of the flicks in a trilogy box-set.
The discs, including standard DVD versions, will swoop into shops on October 30th.
