More Bravia LCD Televisions After initially saying that there would be a shortage of 50 Hz Bravia LCD TVs in Australia, Sony has announced that there will be "a lot of stock".

The firm has made the announcement in the run-up to the release of its 100Hz Bravia LCD TVs, which are due to be launched later this month at a Sony event in Sydney, Smarthouse.com reports.

"We will have stock, a lot of stock. There will be no shortages of LCD TV at Sony. This year you will see a big emphasis on our new LCD TV range as well as a new range of home theatre Hi Fi systems," said Sony corporate affairs manager Jenny Geddes.

Select Bravia LCD TVs feature Sony's 'Motionflow' 100Hz high frame rate technology and 10-bit panels. The new LCD TVs come in various screen sizes, including 40-, 46- and 52 inches.

Commenting on the range, Randy Waynick, Sony home products division marketing vice president, added: "Bravia is not just about a pretty picture. It's an art. Now you've got flat panels that hang on the wall. So, we've worked hard to make them fit in and complement the environment."
