Bang & Olufsen unveils BeoVision 8 flat screen

31 May 2007 18:00

Bang & Olufsen launched new BeoVision 8 inch flat screen TV Top picture quality and sound performance are two of the elements of Bang & Olufsen's latest flat screen TV offering, the BeoVision 8.

Renowned for its striking designs, Bang & Olufsen has brought in designer David Lewis to create a "young and street-smart concept" with the new BeoVision.

It can easily be moved around, turned and tilted - meaning that it will fit wherever you want it in your home.

Optimised for daily and casual use, the focus of the TV is simplicity and ease of use and no extraneous functions have been included.

Its screen offers terrific picture quality by way of a high-glare surface that is at the cutting edge of progressive display technology.

"This is particularly relevant when you watch TV during the daytime," said the company's business manager, Rie Pripso.

"It results in a considerable improvement of the screen's contrast conditions: black is blacker, both when the screen is on and when it is off."

Bang & Olufsen was founded in Denmark in 1925.
