FIFA 08 top of the charts

Well, it seems that those of you out there who love your PS2s, Playstation 3 consoles, PSPs and your Nintendo Wiis are all really into football as well.That's according to the latest figures compiled by ChartTrack, as FIFA 08 is currently riding high at the top of the UK's all-formats chart.
Commenting on the data, Gerhard Florin, EA executive vice president for international publishing, said: "This is just the start of what promises to be the most exciting season ever for gamers."
And what's more, the PS2 version of the Electronic Arts title has swept ahead of Halo 3 in the individual formats chart to claim the number one post there as well.
The data shows that while sales of Halo 3 have dropped by 79 per cent it is still managing to retain the number two spot in the all-formats chart.
During the first week of its European release, FIFA 08 sold more than one million units across all formats. The game will go on sale in North America as of today (Tuesday, October 9th).
Juiced 2: Hot Import Nights, MySims and Tiger Woods PGA Tour 08 make up the rest of the top five, while More Brain Training from Dr Kawashima, Sega Rally, Ratatouille, Dr Kawashima's Brain Training, and Forza Motorsport 2 round up the top ten.
