A new plasma screen from Hitachi builds on the manufacturer's reputation for quality as well as offering smooth visuals and impressive colour, according to a new review.HDTV News reports this week that Hitachi's 50-inch P50H401 not only offers 1080p full high-definition and a "line-for-line vertical match" on incoming HD TV signals but also features smooth colour reproduction.
"The P50H401's sixteen bit processing increases the number of steps to over 65,000 per colour for the smoothest and most film-like image possible," the review notes.
It is also reported that the screen features Hitachi's PictureMaster HD IV digital video processing, as well as 2 component video inputs, MPEG noise reduction and ClearWindow Plasma Technology - which gives "cleaner and smoother image reproduction".
Earlier this month, the manufacturer's 37-inch L37X01 LCD TV was praised in an article for Trusted Reviews for its "outstanding" connectivity and high performance.
