JVC adds to its 'innovative range'

03 Mar 2008 13:31

JVC: the next dimension? JVC has been praised for its high definition additions to the LCD TV market and its latest 42-inch model is highlighted as no exception.

According to Franz Bicar of HDTV News, the Japanese manufacturer's previous forays into LCD TV screens have "brought a new dimension to home entertainment" and the LT42E478 has continued this trend.

It is reported that the screen offers as much in terms of design as it does in performance and along with these "stylish cosmetics" a 1500:1 contrast ratio, ATSC tuner, two HDMI inputs and USB connectivity make the panel "ideal for any room in the house".

The screen's 178-degree viewing angle and 1366 x 768 resolution are also noted as impressive specifications and the 32-bit processing power and high performance audio also make for an "attractive" option.

Reuters reported earlier this year that JVC had unveiled what it claimed was the world's thinnest flat screen television at 2.9 inches.
