LG Electronics has introduced a series of LCD televisions: The LC7 series Are you the sort of person who loves to be able to show off a brand new piece of technology? Well, if so, then be thankful that here at mangotango we are more than happy to keep you informed about all the latest shiny gadgets making their way onto the market.

For instance, did you know that LG Electronics (LGE) has introduced a new series of LCD televisions? And that they come complete with all sorts of clever features to improve the audio visual quality of your favourite films and programmes too? Well, let us tell you just in case.

The sets in the LC7 range feature a high 10,000:1 contrast ratio to produce a better defined, richer image than most LCD TVs. Moreover, they have a five millisecond response time, so images will be clear even if you're watching a high-paced action flick.

And, these TVs have a 178-degree viewing angle. Confused? Don't be. All this means is that the image on the screen will be clear and undistorted no matter where you sit in the room.

Commenting on the new sets, Young-Chang Kim, executive vice president of LGE, said: "Flat Panel TVs are becoming mainstream products - they are not just for tech-savvy consumers anymore. LGE has a long history of making technically advanced TVs and we leveraged this experience to create the LC7 series, which upgrades LCD TVs to a premium level."
