New LCD projectors from Sony

The firm's new projectors are top-notch Sony unveiled two brand new LCD-based video projectors earlier this week (November 26th).

The company has launched the VPL-FW300L and the VPL-FH300L, which are intended for commercial use such as in meeting rooms, large classrooms and museums, but which could well fit in nicely into your home.

Both products are housed in a round chassis which minimises noise while still allowing for airflow and have dual 275W lamps, which help to keep down energy consumption.

The FW300L has a 1366 x 800 resolution while the FH300L has a slightly more impressive 2048 x 1080.

Both units are housed in the same that maximizes airflow while keeping fan noise down, and feature.

You can choose from five different lens settings and the controls panels are located on the side, making them both easy to use and install.

The FW300L and the FH300L have fairly hefty price tags though: $27,000 (£13,000) and $40,000 (£19,000) respectively.
