Panasonic 42in offers picture 'better than any other'

31 Jan 2008 17:20

Panasonic adds to its range Panasonic's latest 42-inch entry into the plasma TV market has been given a solid review by The PC Advisor website.

The review states that the manufacturer's latest TH-42PZ700U offers full 1080p high definition, great connectivity features and when set up properly could give a number of its rivals cause for concern.

It is reported that there are some difficulties to be had with complicated on-screen menus and below par performance on standard definition output but that overall picture quality is "higher than that of any other TV".

"The Panasonic TH-42PZ700U got high marks for overall picture quality in high-definition broadcasts … we were particularly impressed by the superb detail," the review states.

Last week Panasonic unveiled the new TH-17LX8 17-inch LCD TV - which is available in five different colours and is expected to be onsale from February 15th.
