Panasonic 'makes the best better'

19 Mar 2008 17:21

Panasonic television Panasonic has made improvements to a 50-inch plasma screen that was once described as one of the best around, according to a new article for Big Picture Big Sound.

The website cites a review from Consumer Reports which noted that the 50PZ700U was the best plasma TV they had ever tested and adds that this has been given an anti-reflective screen and improved contrast levels.

The new TH-50PZ77U model builds on the older screens reputation for "rich saturated colours, deep blacks and nearly three-dimensional detail" and gives it a little extra by minimising reflections and boosting the contrast ratio to 10,000:1.

It is also noted that the screen can now be purchased at an "amazingly low" price and that with two 1080p HDMI inputs and multiple tuners there should be no major connectivity issues.

According to the Trusted Reviews website the TH-50PZ77U has the "ability to beautifully reproduce fast-moving images - so every detail is rendered with amazing clarity".
