25 Mar 2008 17:06

Phillips is back Phillips have launched a 42-inch model that is not only "stunning" to look at but also offers a range of features and connectivity options, it has been noted.

In a new review for Unbeatable.co.uk, the manufacturer's 42PFL9632D LCD TV is highlighted as "an extremely attractive model" that although bulky enough to make wall mounting difficult is feature packed enough to impress when it gets there.

The site notes that the screen uses LED lighting technology as well as the manufacturer's Perfect Pixel Engine and that 100Hz LCD and HD Natural Motion add up to picture quality of an "extremely high standard"

"The images were vibrant and clear and colours were displayed immaculately, whilst motion judder was eliminated and detail was amazing," the review states.

With triple HDMI connectivity and component video, RGB SCART, S-Video and USB compatibility among its ports the panel should be at home in most living rooms and its simple-to-use options add up to what is highlighted as a "wonderful model".

A recent review for hdtvorg.co.uk noted the panel's abilities at handling standard definition content - although the screen is HD ready.
