It has been revealed by Sony Computer Entertainment Europe that this Autumn, the brand new slim PSP will be launched in European shops - before it reaches the Japanese market.
Speaking at SCEE's E3 event last week, the firm's chief executive officer and president David Reeves said that it will be released at the beginning of September, priced at EUR169 (£114).
He told the audience: "It will come out at 169 Euros in all the PAL territories at the beginning of September."
In addition, a spokesperson for Sony Computer Entertainment Europe told Gamesindusrty.biz, "As David said in his speech last week, the new PSP will launch in early September and will be the same price as the existing one."
The slim PSP will be made available in Japan and on September 20th. In Europe, the original PSP currently has a recommended retail price of £129.99.
