The Aquos range is already enjoyed by many It has emerged that Sharp is to add to its range of LCD TV panels by bringing three new entries to the market.

The new LCD screens, which will measure 37, 42 and 46 inches, will be added to the manufacturer's popular Aquos range and will measure 3.44 cm in depth, according to hdtvorg.co.uk.

It is reported by the site that the range will be named the Aquos X Series and will "represent a trend in demand for larger slimmer panels which owe as much to consumer demand for high style as for the latest technological wizardry".

As well as their ultra-thin styling, the units will be equipped with triple HDMI connectivity, a 1-bit digital amplifier and full HD resolution. It is expected that the screens could be available later this year.

Earlier this month, the site advised that Sharp's latest BD-HP20 Blu-ray player, which retails for around £250, was a sleek and stylish companion to the manufacturer's Aquos range.
