Sharp to release new HDTVS in Japan

New HDTVs by Sharp We at mangotango know how much you love hearing about new products that are making their way onto the consumer market and, being the generous sort of folk that we are, we can't help but inform you.

So, with that in mind, spend a moment to take in this cracking bit of news about some new high-def televisions that are set to be released by Sharp in Japan.

The Aquos G series features 16 new LCD HDTVs that all have120Hz technology, an ASV liquid crystal panel, a contrast of 2000:1, brightness of 450cd/m2 and a field of view that is 176 degrees.

Available in Japan from August 21st, they will come in screen sizes ranging from 26- to 52-inches, and they are all just 81mm deep. The sets with screens between 37- and 52- inches have full HD resolution (1920x1080), while 26- and 32-inch models have a 1366x768 resolution.

Of the two main designs in the new G series, one features speakers on the sides of the tellies (LC- 52GX4W, LC-52GX45, LC-46GX4W, LC-46GX45, LC-42GX4W, LC-37GX4W, LC-32GH4, LC-26GH4), while the other has them under the panel (LC-52GX3W, LC-52GX35, LC-46GX3W, LC-46GX35, LC-42GX3W, LC-37GX3W, LC-32GH3, LC-26GH3).
