Super slim, super light LCD TV

11 Oct 2007 15:30

Are you tempted to buy a super-slim telly? An hd ready television is often the crowning glory of a home entertainment system. As such, there are so many different things to consider when choosing the right one for your home - particularly style and size.

So, it may interest you loyal mangotango fans to learn that a brand new HD TV has been introduced onto the market - and according to its manufacturers it is the one of the thinnest and lightest around.

NASTAR announced its first full HD LCD TV under its high-end brand name ESSONI yesterday (Wednesday, October 10th) and the firm's bosses believe that it is "the world's first lightest and thinnest LCD-TV in the 47- or 52-inch range".

ESSONI's range of LCD TVs is a bit unusual because the sets come without a back panel and instead have a separate casing for the components usually placed there. This is done to reduce the weight and size of the televisions.

Harry Rhim, chief executive and president of SYNET Electronics, the US sales and marketing firm behind the 47-inch telly, said: "ESSONI is proud to provide customers with the world's first lightest and thinnest LCD-TV in the 47 or 52-inch range."

The 47-inch Full LCD-TV by ESSONI will be showcased at the IT Channel USA Conference 2007 in New Jersey on October 25th.
