GPX has announced the release of an under-the-counter LCD television that is an affordable price and will be out just in time for Christmas.The KCLD8887DT has a silver finish, designed to fit in with the majority of kitchens, comes with a DVD player and a JPEG viewer and is also capable of playing CDs.
It has a dinky 8.4-inch pull down screen that is swivel mounted to make it fully accessible wherever you are sitting in the room.
And what's more, it comes with HDTV tuners, stereo speakers and an on-board digital AM/FM radio.
According to the firm, it is "designed to also keep families running on time, the stylish unit is a full-function alarm clock, and for ease of use, all entertainment features are quickly managed from a soft-touch remote control included with the unit".
The KCLD8887DT has a recommended retail price of $299.99 (£150), but a UK release date is yet to be announced.
