Toshiba's offer a new 37" model The latest 37-inch from Toshiba is stylish and great to look at but also comes with a host of features that make it worth considering, a new review has suggested.

HDTV news' Franz Bicar said this week the manufacturer's 37HL67 has a sleek modern finish that hides high quality sound, great connectivity and high quality resolution.

The review states that three HDMI ports as well as VGA and component-video input means that there are is a fair amount of connectivity features to be had from the panel and that overall the unit is an impressive package.

Colour and greyscale performance are also highlighted as key features when configured correctly, however, it is noted that the panel doesn’t do much for standard definition (SD) content.

Recently, Toshiba - the company behind HD DVD - answered Warner Brothers' decision to back Blu-ray last week by dropping the price of its HD DVD and drawing attention to the fact that the units do more to improve SD content than Blu-ray.
