eZone to host film festival

One of the great things about the new advances in television technology is that watching a film at home is increasingly becoming a cinematic experience, what with the quality of the images and surround-sound and everything.And of course you have the added bonus of not having to keep shifting in your seat because someone is obscuring your view, a fact so appreciated by electronics retailer eZone that the company is planning on hosting its very own film festival.
Hit movies such as Spiderman will be screened on LCD and plasma TVS to highlight the quality of the home-viewing experience at the eZone Dhamaka Festival in various locations in India, including Mumbai and Delhi, tech2.com reports.
Manoj Kumar of Home Solutions Retail, the company which owns the chain, said: "eZone Movie Dhamaka is essentially a festival dedicated to celebrating the movie experience.
"Products such as home theatres and LCD/plasma televisions have brought the theatre experience into the comfort of consumer's homes. Through blockbuster movies, which will be screened at eZone stores, consumers can sample the home theatre experience in just the right setting.
"We will enable consumers to bring this experience to their homes, through attractive, unbeatable, limited time special offers that we will be offering as a part of this festival."
